This site aims to prove that the creation of the Australia Institute of Sport has greatly benefited and increased the success of the Australian swimmers at the international level of competition. This will be achieved through an examination of the history of the Australian Institute of Sport, Australia's swimming success in terms of medal tallies, the Australian Institue of Sports effect on the success of Australia's swimmers, Australia's greatest swimmers and Australia's Olympic swimming throughout history.
